Amaury Cambuzat started Ulan Bator in 1993. In the years since he has continually been producing music including 10 albums with ULAN BATOR. Since 1996 he has played live and recorded with the German band FAUST, recorded 2 albums with side-proj: CHAOS PHYSIQUE as well as three solo albums.
He has also collaborated with Michael Gira, Robin Guthrie, James Johnston, Nikki Sudden, and Pascal Comelade
